How do I apply?

STEP 1
APPLY FOR SKPS / SKDS 2.0
  1. To find out if you are eligible and to apply for the subsidised fuel via https://mysubsidi.kpdn.gov.my
  2. Documents required:
    (i) Company details (SSM).
    (ii) Vehicle Registration Number.
    (iii) Select PETRONAS as your preferred Oil Company.
  3. Approval will be received immediately upon submission of complete and accurate details.
  4. Applicant/ Company will receive 2 documents:
    (i) KPDN SKPS / SKDS Approval Letter.
    (ii) KPDN SKPS / SKDS Approved Vehicle List.
STEP 2
APPLY FOR PETRONAS SMARTPAY FLEET CARD
  1. Apply for PETRONAS SmartPay via https://www.smartpay.mymesra.com.my/
    (click here for the supporting documents required)
  2. For SKPS / SKDS 2.0-eligible applicants, submit the following documents during application:
    (i) KPDN SKPS / SKDS Approval Letter.
    (ii) KPDN SKPS / SKDS Approved Vehicle List.
  3. Your PETRONAS SmartPay Card will be delivered to your address upon successful approval*

SKDS 1.0 started operating in 2013 for 10 types of Public Sector vehicles.

Only vehicles registered in Malaysia with valid approval from KPDN are eligible to enjoy subsidised diesel at RM1.88/litre.

23 types of commercial vehicles are eligible under the SKDS 2.0.

The Diesel price set for this programme is RM2.15/litre.

Companies applying for the subsidy must be registered for business in Malaysia, with the vehicle having valid and up-to-date road tax, and being eligible under the system

All eligible companies/businesses/goods transportation companies are urged to:

1. Apply via KPDN's MySubsidi Diesel portal.

2. Apply for a Fleet Card with their selected Oil Company.
