What items are eligible?
The minimum spend is measured on the Kedai Mesra items in your basket.
Eligible
Anything on the Kedai Mesra shelves that is not on the non-eligible list.
- Snacks, drinks and groceries Kuih, keropok, chocolate, coffee, mineral water and everything else off the shelf.
- PETRONAS lubricants bought in store PETRONAS Syntium, PETRONAS Sprinta and the rest of the Kedai Mesra lubricant range.
- Car care and accessories Screen wash, cloths, air fresheners and other Kedai Mesra merchandise.
- Any PETRONAS station in Malaysia Every Kedai Mesra takes part — shop wherever you happen to stop.
Non-eligible
These are excluded from the RM15 and from the campaign entirely.
- Petrol and diesel Fuel purchases do not qualify for this campaign at all.
- Cigarettes
- Prepaid top-ups, Touch ’n Go and e-Pay Reloads and third-party payment products are excluded.
- Café Mesra products Hot food and barista drinks sit outside this campaign.
- SmartPay transactions SmartPay customers are not eligible to take part.
Spend on excluded categories is not counted towards the RM15 minimum.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to register or submit anything?
No. As long as you are an active Mesra Rewards member and the transaction is linked to your membership — through the Setel app or by keying your registered mobile number at the cashier display screen — the entry is recorded automatically.
Manual receipt submissions are not accepted. PETRONAS transaction records are the official record for verifying entries.
How many times can I enter?
As often as you like. Every qualifying transaction of RM15 or more is a separate entry, and there is no cap over the campaign period.
The RM15 is measured per transaction. Spending across several smaller receipts does not add up to an entry.
Does buying fuel count?
No. This campaign is for Kedai Mesra purchases only. Petrol and diesel transactions do not qualify.
Cigarettes, prepaid top-ups, Touch ’n Go, e-Pay and Café Mesra products are also excluded from the qualifying spend.
What is the difference between the main draw and the Visa Special Prize?
The main draw covers the Grand Prize, the First Prize and the 92 Consolation Prizes. You qualify by spending RM15 or more at Kedai Mesra, paid with Setel or linked to your membership through your registered mobile number.
The Visa Special Prize is a separate draw for 30 winners of RM3,000 in AEON, Servay or Emart vouchers. To qualify, pay with a Visa debit or credit card and key your mobile number into the cashier display screen.
Can I win more than one prize?
A Grand Prize winner is not eligible to also win a First Prize or a Consolation Prize, and the reverse applies too.
How will I know if I have won?
Winners are announced on mymesra.com.my, then contacted for verification on the mobile number registered to their Mesra Rewards membership. Consolation prize winners may also be contacted through the official Mesra Rewards WhatsApp channel or by email.
If you cannot be reached, up to three further attempts are made within a four-hour period before an alternate winner is selected. Make sure the number on your membership is current.
When do prizes arrive?
Within 60 working days of the winner announcement, once verification and the declaration form are complete.
- Cash is transferred to the winner’s bank account.
- Lubricants and PETRONAS Shop merchandise are shipped to the address on the declaration form.
- Setel vouchers and Mesra Rewards points are issued as a code to enter in the Setel app.
A prize-giving ceremony is held within 90 working days of the announcement. Winners who cannot attend may nominate a representative with an authorisation letter or a copy of the winner’s identity card.
I use the Setel Family Wallet. Am I eligible?
Only the registered primary account holder of a Setel Family Wallet can take part and receive prizes. Linked family members are not eligible.
How do the 3× Mesra Rewards points work?
Pay at Kedai Mesra with the Setel app and every RM1 earns 3 Mesra Rewards points — 1 base point plus 2 bonus points. This is not a draw: the points are credited to your account regardless of the prize outcome.
