The Contest runs from 20 October 2026 at 12.00am until 26 October 2026 at 11.59pm (Malaysian Time), inclusive of both dates.

This contest is open to all individuals who fulfill the requirements below:

1. Participants must hold Malaysian citizenship; and
2. Participants must be aged eighteen (18) years and above.
3. Participants must be a member of PETRONAS Mesra Rewards Loyalty Programme.

The following individuals are not eligible:

1. Permanent or contract employees of the PETRONAS Group of Companies, including the Organiser and their immediate family members.
2. PETRONAS station dealers, PETRONAS crew members and their immediate family members.
3. Third-party service providers engaged by PETRONAS Group of Companies and/or the Organiser including their permanent and/or contract employees and their immediate family members.

Yes. You can register as a PETRONAS Mesra Rewards member via the Setel App or at www.setel.com.my.

You must be a registered and active Mesra Rewards member and fulfil all other Contest requirements during the Contest Period to be eligible to participate.

To participate, you must complete ALL the following steps during the Contest Period:

Step 1: Be a registered and active PETRONAS Mesra Rewards member.

Step 2: Purchase at least one (1) bottle of any of the following participating products from Kedai Mesra at PETRONAS stations in Malaysia:

• Any PETRONAS Sprinta Fully Synthetic range (excluding PETRONAS Sprinta T900 2T Fully Synthetic); OR
• Any PETRONAS Sprinta Fully Synthetic with Ester Base range.

Payment must be made via the Setel App using Setel Wallet or CardTerus (linked debit/credit card).

Step 3: Send a clear photograph or screenshot of your purchase receipt via Direct Message (DM) to @petronasbrands on Facebook or Instagram. You must use the same platform to submit your receipt, post your tiebreaker answer and fulfil the applicable account-following requirements.

Step 4: Complete the tiebreaker challenge by commenting on the official Contest post:

“Saya pilih PETRONAS Sprinta kerana...”

Your answer must be in Bahasa Malaysia or English and contain no more than fifteen (15) words, excluding the opening statement.

Step 5: Follow BOTH @petronasbrands and @petronas_sprintaMY on the platform used for participation.

All requirements must be completed within the Contest Period.

Only purchases made through the Setel App using Setel Wallet or CardTerus and linked to the Participant’s registered PETRONAS Mesra Rewards account will qualify for the Contest.

Receipts dated before or after the Contest Period will not be accepted.

Participants must purchase at least one (1) bottle of:

1. Any PETRONAS Sprinta Fully Synthetic range (excluding PETRONAS Sprinta T900 2T Fully Synthetic); OR
2. Any PETRONAS Sprinta Fully Synthetic with Ester Base range.

Purchases must be made at Kedai Mesra outlets at PETRONAS stations in Malaysia during the Contest Period.

Qualifying purchases must be made via the Setel App, using either:

1. Setel Wallet; OR
2. CardTerus (linked debit/credit card).

Purchases made using cash or other payment methods outside the specified Setel payment options will not qualify.

Participants must submit:

1. A clear photograph or screenshot of a valid purchase receipt showing the transaction date, time, outlet name, participating product purchased and transaction details.
2. An original answer to the tiebreaker challenge in the official Contest post’s comment section.

Participants may also be required to provide their social media username and participation platform to facilitate verification.

Shortlisted Participants may be required to provide additional information reasonably necessary for eligibility verification and prize fulfilment, including their full name, limited NRIC information or proof of identity, registered Mesra Rewards mobile number, email address and supporting proof of purchase. The Organiser may require the original NRIC to be presented for sighting without retaining a copy, where appropriate.

Your tiebreaker answer must be posted in the comment section of the official Sprint to Win! Contest post on the same platform.

Both submissions must be completed within the Contest Period.

No. Each qualifying receipt may only be submitted once and cannot be reused by the same or different Participants.

Duplicate, altered, manipulated, illegible or fraudulent receipts will be rejected.

Participants must complete the statement:

"I choose PETRONAS Sprinta because..." atau “Saya pilih PETRONAS Sprinta kerana…”

Answers must:

1. Contain no more than fifteen (15) words, excluding the opening statement.
2. Be written in Bahasa Malaysia or English.
3. Be original and relevant to the question.
4. Be posted in the comment section of the official Contest post during the Contest Period.
5. Be the Participant’s own original submission.
6. Not infringe any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights.
7. Not contain offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, unlawful, misleading or otherwise inappropriate content.

A total of eight (8) winners will be selected.

Each winner will receive one (1) Main Grandstand ticket to the PETRONAS Grand Prix of Malaysia 2026 at Sepang International Circuit.

Each ticket provides admission for the event period from 30 October to 1 November 2026, subject to the applicable ticket admission terms (Friday is free admission to the public).

No. Each Participant is entitled to win only one (1) prize throughout the Contest Period.

Subject to verification that all Contest requirements have been fulfilled, eligible entries will be evaluated based on:

1. creativity;
2. originality;
3. relevance to the tiebreaker statement; and
4. clarity and overall impact.

The eight (8) highest-ranked eligible entries will be selected as winners. If two (2) or more entries receive the same ranking, the affected entries will be ranked based on originality, followed by creativity. The Contest does not involve a random draw.

Shortlisted winners will be contacted by the Organiser or its appointed representative via Facebook or Instagram Direct Message (DM), or WhatsApp using the contact number provided.

Shortlisted winners who fail verification or do not respond within twenty-four (24) hours from the time of notification may be disqualified, and an alternate winner may be selected.

Subject to completion of the eligibility and purchase-verification process, winners will be announced on 28 October 2026 through the official @petronasbrands Instagram and Facebook accounts. If verification cannot be completed by that date, an updated announcement date will be communicated through the same official accounts.

Winners may collect their tickets from 30 October 2026 (Friday) to 1 November 2026 (Sunday).

The Organiser’s appointed representative will contact winners via Direct Message (DM) or WhatsApp to coordinate collection arrangements.

The designated ticket collection location and operating hours will be communicated to winners accordingly.

Failure to collect tickets within the stipulated period may result in forfeiture of the prize, unless otherwise approved by the Organiser.

Winners must comply with the applicable ticket-collection, identification, admission, venue, safety and security requirements. The Organiser’s appointed representative will inform winners of the documents required for collection.

No. The prize covers the Main Grandstand ticket only.

All transportation, accommodation, meals and other personal expenses incurred in attending the PETRONAS Grand Prix of Malaysia 2026 shall be borne by the winners.

No. The ticket is awarded exclusively to the verified winner and cannot be transferred, sold, exchanged or redeemed by the winner for cash or any other item. If the advertised prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control, the Organiser may substitute it with another prize of equivalent or greater value.
