Buy an eligible PETRONAS Syntium or PETRONAS Sprinta engine oil at a PETRONAS station, pay with the Setel app, and cashback is credited straight into your Setel Wallet.

It starts on 1 August 2026 and runs until further notice — there is no published end date. PETRONAS Lubricants Marketing Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (PLMMSB) can change, suspend or end it at any time under the campaign terms, so it is worth checking this page before a big purchase.

Anyone with a valid Setel account who buys an eligible bottle at a PETRONAS station and pays through the Setel app. There is no separate registration for the campaign itself.

No. The payment has to go through the Setel app. Cash, credit and debit cards and every other payment method are outside the campaign, even if you have Setel installed.

Yes, as long as you set one up before you pay. Download Setel from the App Store, Google Play or Huawei AppGallery, register, then buy. Registration has to be completed during the campaign period.

Yes. The bottle has to be bought at the recommended retail price to qualify. The RRP for every eligible grade is listed in the product section.

It depends on the grade. Up to RM20 per qualifying PETRONAS Syntium bottle, and up to RM5 per qualifying PETRONAS Sprinta bottle. The exact amount for each product is shown on its card in the product section.

Nothing to claim. The cashback is credited immediately to the Setel Wallet linked to your Setel account once the qualifying payment goes through.

No. There is no cap on the number of rewards during the campaign, and you can make several qualifying purchases in the same day — as long as each bottle is its own transaction.

Not on a single receipt. You can buy as many bottles as you like, but to earn the cashback on each one, each bottle must be rung up as a separate transaction with its own receipt, paid through Setel.

Two bottles on one receipt earns one lot of cashback. The same two bottles rung up separately earn two. See the worked example.

Check these four things first:

• The payment went through the Setel app, not cash or card.
• The product is on the eligible list and was bought at the recommended retail price.
• Only one bottle was on that receipt.
• Your Setel account is active and valid.
