You can easily locate over 300 Food Banks at PETRONAS stations with Setel. If you’re able, we’d appreciate your contribution of essential items. For those who are in need, you’re welcome to help yourselves with the basic necessities provided.🤗

How to use Deliver2Me

STEP 1

Refuel with Setel as usual. You will receive a prompt to order Kedai Mesra items through Deliver2Me. Browse and add items to your cart.

STEP 2

Review your shopping cart. When you're done, click Checkout.

STEP 3

Key in your vehicle plate number so that we can identify and deliver your purchases to you. Click Pay to proceed.

STEP 4

Exit vehicle to refuel as usual. Our staff will pack and deliver the items to your vehicle.

What is Food Bank Programme?
The Food Bank Programme is an initiative by PETRONAS Station Business Partners and the communities in providing essential items at selected PETRONAS stations nationwide. Those in need can take these items for free, while those who would like to contribute can deposit items into the Food Bank Programme.

What is the duration of the Food Bank Programme?
The Food Bank Programme is a temporary initiative to provide assistance to those in need during MCO 3.0, subject to the availability of goods or items.

How do I participate or contribute to this Food Bank Programme?
Anyone can contribute to the Food Bank Programme by purchasing items at Kedai Mesra or bringing the essential items to selected PETRONAS Stations. Refer here under For Communities tab, PETRONAS Brands Facebook & Instagram for the full list of participating stations.

You can also contribute to the Food Bank Programme from home or in your vehicle:

1. You can use your Mesra points to redeem RM10.10 (Peninsular Malaysia) or RM10.60 (Sabah & Sarawak) Food Bank pack directly on the Setel App or web.

2. Purchase the RM10.10 (Peninsular Malaysia) or RM10.60 (Sabah & Sarawak) Food Bank pack with Setel via Deliver2Me at selected PETRONAS stations.

What kind of items can be donated?
Examples of items accepted for the Food Bank Programme from public donations are staple foods, canned foods and dry-packed foods as follows:

1.Rice

9.Bread
10.Cooking oil

Kindly ensure that the items are in good condition and is consumable. Expired goods will not be accepted.

What kind of items will not be accepted for donation?
a. Cash.
b. Perishable items such as vegetables, fish, seafood, meat & fruits.

Who is eligible to receive the items under the Food Bank Programme?
The Food Bank Programme is meant for those who are in need of essential items, while stocks last.

Can I contribute cash?
No, we are unable to receive cash contribution.

How many stations are involved in this Food Bank Programme?
A total of 328 stations as at 8th July are involved in this initiative. The list of stations will be updated every Thursday.

When can individuals come and collect the items at the stations involved?
Items can be collected during stations’ operating hours, while stocks last.

When can the public donate the items at the stations involved?
Anytime during stations’ operating hours.

Besides food, can the public donate toiletries or personal care items or laundry detergent etc.?
We only accept items as stated above.

How do I donate if the food bank area or shelves are full?
You may reach out to the staff on-duty or PETRONAS Station Business Partner.

How else can I contribute to the Food Bank Programme?
The other ways to contribute are as per the following:

1. Mesra Rewards redemption: Use your Mesra points to redeem Food Bank pack directly on the Setel App or web.

2. Deliver2Me: Purchase the Food Bank pack via Deliver2Me on Setel app at specific stations where this feature is available.

3. Online Purchase: Click here to purchase the Food Bank pack. All succeessful purchases will be channelled to the Food Bank Programme.

Do I qualify for tax-deduction if I purchase a Food Bank pack or contribute essentials to the Food Bank at PETRONAS Stations?
No, contributions to the Food Bank programme do not qualify for tax-deductions. Donations are only tax deductable if they are made to a goverment approved charity.

What is the PETRONAS Food Bank pack?
The PETRONAS Food bank pack is a pack consisting of essential food items, supporting the PETRONAS Food Bank Programme, where PDB and it’s customers can offer assistance to those in need via Mesra Rewards.

What is inside the Food Bank pack?
The items in each pack are as per below:

1. Peninsular Malaysia:
a. 1 Loaf of Gardenia Original Classic 400g Bread
b. 3 Units of Mesra BITES (selected SKUs)
c. 1 Pack of Maggi 2-Minutes Instant Noodles (selected SKUs)
d. 1 Pack of Gardenia Numee 450g

2. Sabah/Sarawak:
a. 1 Pack of Maggi 2-Minutes Instant Noodles (selected SKUs)
b. 1 Pack of Milo 3in1 Active-Go Mixes 8s

How much does it cost to redeem the Food Bank pack?
For 1 Food bank pack, its costs:

1. Peninsular Malaysia: 1010 Mesra points (RM10.10)

2. Sabah & Sarawak: 1060 Mesra points (RM10.60)

Can I choose which specific station for the Food Bank pack to be available at upon redemption?
You can only choose which state you want to contribute to. PDB will then decide which specific PETRONAS station according to the demand.

How many times can I redeem the voucher?
Mesra members can redeem as many times possible as long as they have sufficient Mesra points.

How can I redeem the Food Bank pack?
You can redeem the Food Bank pack under the community section of Mesra Rewards page and you may select the state you wish to send your contributions to.

You can access Mesra Rewards via the Setel App or web:

a. Setel app: Launch the app and click on ‘Rewards’. Select a Food Bank pack and click ‘Redeem’

b. Setel web: Visit app.setel.my/mesrarewards, select a Food Bank pack and click ‘Redeem’

Do I need to go to the station to redeem the Food bank pack voucher?
No, Mesra members are not required to claim the redeemed voucher at any PETRONAS stations. The voucher generated is only for the Mesra members’ reference. The Food Bank pack will be prepared by the station and placed at the Food Bank corner.

Does the voucher have any expiry date?
No, the voucher doesn’t have any expiry date. Upon redemption, the Food Bank pack will be donated to the Food bank section at the respective station within your selected state.

What is the voucher code for?
The voucher code that you get after completing the redemption is just for your reference only. No extra action required.

When will the Food Bank pack be available at the station after I make the redemption on Mesra Rewards?
The Food Bank pack will be made available once the redemption order is processed and coordinated with the respective station(s).

I don’t have enough Mesra points, how can I redeem to help those in need?
Here are 3 more ways to contribute to the Food Bank:

1. You can purchase a Food Bank pack on Setel App through Deliver2Me at PETRONAS selected stations.

2. You can click here to purchase a Food Bank pack online.

3. Contribute to the Food Bank Programme by purchasing items from Kedai Mesra or bringing essential items to participating PETRONAS Stations.

How long will this Food Bank pack be made available for redemption?
It is available for redemption until further notice.
Where are the Deliver2Me stations that are participating with Food Bank Programme?
As of 12 July 2021, there are 62 stations with Deliver2Me that are participating in the Food Bank Programme.

Will I get a physical package if I buy the Food Bank Package?
Once you’ve sucessfully purchased the Food Bank pack, Krew PETRONAS will place it at the Food Bank corner of the station.

How will the Food Bank pack distributed to the people in needs?
The people who are in need can come to collect the Food Bank pack in the participating stations.

Who is eligible to receive the items under the Food Bank Programme?

What is the benefit of this Foodbank Pogramme through Deliver2Me?
You will be able to purchase the RM10.10 (Peninsular Malaysia) / RM10.60 (Sabah & Sarawak) Food Bank pack from the comfort of your vehicle. Once payment is complete, Krew PETRONAS will place your purchase at the Food Bank.

1. Drive to any of the 62 stations participating in the Foodbank Programme.

2. Park your car at the pump.

3. Select desired fuel amount.

4. Select the Food Bank pack to purchase on Deliver2Me.

5. Click ‘checkout’ and key in your vehicle plate number.

6. Your Food Bank pack will be placed at the station’s Food Back section.
