Kuala Lumpur, 26 October 2018 – Just as the previous winners are still reminiscing their one-week trip to Silverstone in UK, PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB) today announced that it will be taking three more lucky winners of the Mesra Bonanza campaign to catch F1 live, this time in Abu Dhabi from 23 until 25 November 2018. The 6 days 5 nights trip also comprise visit to Dubai.

In addition to this all-expense paid trip, PDB also rewarded ten winners with holiday packages worth RM20,000 and three winners with RM50,000 at its second prize-giving ceremony today, PDB also gave away 14 Yamaha scooters and 14 Samsung Smart TV to the remaining lucky winners.

Speaking at the event, PDB’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Sri Syed Zainal Abidin said, “Mesra Bonanza is all about rewarding our customers with meaningful prizes with the simplest mechanic – just fuel up, swipe your Mesra card and you are automatically in the running to win these fantastic prizes.”

“The campaign has proven to be a hit amongst our customers, as we see an increase in the number of participation since its launch in April. Encouraged by the overwhelming response, we will continue to run similar campaigns in the future to ensure our customers are rewarded meaningfully. This is part of our commitment to see through our customers’ lens to offer what truly matters to them,” he added.

The campaign, which runs from 16 April until 31 December 2018, offers 165 monthly prizes and 44 grand prizes three times in a year. The monthly prizes include Samsung S9, GoPro Hero6 Black, Lego Speed Champion set, RM500 worth of Lazada and Watsons shopping vouchers, as well as RM1,000 worth of Mesra points.

There will be a final round of grand prizes to be given away by January 2019. To be in the running for the monthly prizes, customers are required to spend a minimum of RM30 in a single receipt for any purchases made on fuels or at Kedai Mesra items. For the grand prizes, customers need to accumulate RM500 worth of purchase of any fuels or items at Kedai Mesra within two months.

The winning prize to catch the F1 race live in Abu Dhabi is exclusive to PETRONAS Primax 97 customers who fuel up RM500 within two months, over and above the other grand prizes.

The Mesra Bonanza campaign is also supported by PDB’s wide-ranging partners including Watsons, Lazada and Samsung.
