On 3 July 1981, we opened our first flagship service station in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, where it still stands until today and has served many customers for 40 years now. The launch of our first station marked the beginning of PETRONAS’ significant participation in the downstream segment of the Malaysian petroleum industry, and more importantly, it was also the beginning of delivering our brand promise to you, our customers.

This milestone has also paved the way for the setting up of many more stations throughout Malaysia, with more than 1,000 PETRONAS stations nationwide and now, our stations have become more than just a pit-stop for customers to fuel up. Our stations are being upgraded to cater to your needs and convenience, just like your neighbourhood station here at Taman Tun Dr. Ismail!
