What is the MARiiCas 2WEV rebate?

Hold a valid motorcycle license (B, B1, or B2)

SoloEra bikes are available at all authorised Blueshark dealerships nationwide. For the Solo 1C RM599 Pre-Launch promotion, Setel & Mesra Rewards customers must apply online through the official campaign site or via participating PETRONAS stations from 1 July to 31 August 2025.
Where is SoloEra manufactured?
All SoloEra motorcycles are locally assembled in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, Malaysia by EP Manufacturing Berhad (EPMB), Blueshark’s CKD and manufacturing partner, helping to establish Malaysia as the EV production hub for ASEAN.

What is the cost of the battery rental?
RM59/month for a 5-year period for the Solo 1C RM599 pre-launch promotion.
How long does MARiiCas approval take?
Approval typically takes 3–5 working days, but this may vary depending on application volume.
Where can I collect my bike?
Blueshark will appoint the nearest dealer based on your home address. The fulfilment lead time will not exceed six months. However, early bird customers may receive their bikes earlier. Once the bike is ready, the appointed dealer will contact you for collection arrangements.
Does the bike require insurance and road tax?
Yes. Road tax for EV motorcycles is currently exempted until Dec 2026, and insurance packages are available through partnered providers.
Can I purchase the Solo 1C at the promotional price if I am not a Setel/Mesra Rewards member?
To enjoy this promotion, you MUST be a Setel/Mesra Rewards member. After the pre-launch promotion period, the Solo 1C will be available to the general public, still at a heavily subsidised price (post-MARiiCas rebate), while stocks last.
Where do I apply for the MARiiCas rebate?
Rebate applications can be submitted via Blueshark dealerships or online through the MARiiCas official portal. A valid IC and proof of income (below RM120,000/year) are required.
Will battery swapping be available for the Solo 1C?
Not presently as Blueshark will be upgrading its network of BlueStations to also accommodate the new SoloEra model range. Battery swap stations for SoloEra bikes will be available in the Klang Valley starting from Q3/Q4 2025 at selected Petronas stations, expanding to more locations nationwide by late 2025.
Can I charge the Solo 1C battery at home?
Yes. The SoloEra 1C single battery is removable and can be charged via standard 3-pin sockets.
How long does it take to fully charge a battery?
Charging via a standard 3-pin socket takes approximately 3.5 to 4 hours depending on usage.
Is battery rental mandatory?
Yes, battery rental is mandatory for the RM599 pre-launch promotion. However, customers have the option of purchasing the Solo 1C with the battery at a non-promotion price; please contact Blueshark for assistance. Given that the batteries are the most significant component cost for electric motorcycles, battery rental ensures you don’t bear the cost or risk of battery degradation or replacement. Blueshark does not impose mandatory battery purchases on our customers.
Where can I service my SoloEra motorcycle?
At any authorised Blueshark service centre. These will also handle SoloEra bikes, offering standard maintenance, diagnostics, and battery support.
Are spare parts easily available?
Yes. All SoloEra models are locally assembled with readily available parts through Blueshark’s logistics and dealer network.
What is the warranty period for SoloEra motorcycles?
(Pending confirmation – typically 2–3 years).
Is financing available?
Yes. Apart from the Solo 1C pre-launch promotion, financing options with partners such as AEON Credit, Bank Rakyat, CIMB, DCAP, Maybank, Public Bank, RHB and others will be available at the point of purchase.
Is SoloEra available outside of Malaysia?
Not yet. However, SoloEra plans to expand into other ASEAN countries in the near future with Malaysia as the production hub.
Can businesses or fleet operators purchase SoloEra bikes?
Yes. Blueshark offers fleet leasing and business packages for SMEs, p-hailing providers, and enterprise partners. Please contact Blueshark for assistance.
