KUALA LUMPUR, 8 Mac 2023 – PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB) recently announced and celebrated the winners of its Mesra Bonanza Lagi Onz after its successful three-month long campaign from 1 November 2022 to 31 January 2023.

Muhammad Farid bin Mohd Ariff Foo from Melaka drove home the grand prize – the latest all-electric EQA by Mercedes-EQ. Meanwhile the two runners-up, Mohamed Sabir bin Jamaludin and Khairudin bin Mohamed, walked away with holiday vouchers worth RM15,000 each. The campaign also rewarded monthly prizes to close to 1,200 winners, which include Honda ADV 150, iPhone 14, Garmin smartwatch, fuel, Setel and shopping vouchers, PETRONAS Gas exclusive merchandise, PETRONAS Syntium lubricants as well as Mesra points.

Speaking at the event, PDB’s Head of Marketing Strategy and Communications, Cheok Yen Kwan said, “PDB initiated Mesra Bonanza campaign back in 2018 with a clear purpose in mind – to acknowledge the trust and loyalty of our esteemed customers, and to give back in a meaningful way.”

“Five years after, beyond simply giving out rewards, this campaign has allowed us to connect and engage customers at a deeper level, as we strive to add value to their retail experience in every possible way. We are also constantly making a conscious effort to listen to our customers when curating the rewards and experiences that truly matter to them,” she added.

Dubbed as the PDB’s easiest and inclusive edition of its most awaited loyalty rewards campaign, customers only needed to spend a minimum of RM40 on fuel at any PETRONAS stations or a RM10 retail transaction at Kedai Mesra in a single receipt to be in the running for the monthly prizes; or spend a cumulative of RM700 throughout the campaign period for a chance to win the grand prize.

The Mesra Bonanza Lagi Onz campaign was a collaboration between PDB and Visa Worldwide Pte Ltd, supported by PDB’s partners including Mesra Retail & Café Sdn Bhd, Setel and PETRONAS Lubricants Marketing Malaysia.
