1. What is 'Gas PETRONAS Home Delivery' (GPHD)?
Gas PETRONAS Home Delivery is a local call for customers to order Gas PETRONAS cylinder(s).
2. What is the Gas PETRONAS Home Delivery number?

3. How do I order through GPHD?
Step 1: Call Mesralink Hotline 1300-888-GAS (427)
Step 2: Provide your details and purchase the orders (C12kg or C14kg)
Step3: Mesralink will escalate the order to the respective Premier Dealers (PDs).
Step 4: PD will deliver the product to customers.
4. What is the operation hour for GPHD?
Time: 8am - 8pm (Monday to Saturday).
How will my orders be treated during Friday prayers?
GPHD will be stopped for deliveries for orders received during 12:30pm - 2:30pm on Friday. It will be delivered from 2.30pm onwards.
5. When is the last order to purchase for the day?
6.00pm. Orders received after 6.00pm will be included in the NEXT WORKING DAY order.
6. Is GPHD available on Sunday and National Public Holiday?
GPHD is only available on Sunday for 2 states: Kelantan & Terengganu. In lieu of this, GPHD service will not be available for these two states on Friday. Generally, GPHD is not available to public on National Public Holiday.
7. How long is the delivery period to receive my order?
Delivery period from order creation until Gas PETRONAS cylinder deliver to your home is approximately 1-2 hours, depending on weather and traffic conditions.
8. What type of Gas PETRONAS cylinder could I purchase through this GPHD?
There are four (4) types:-
i) LPG 12 kg cylinder
ii) LPG 14 kg cylinder
iii) LPG 12 kg cylinder with Cylinder Deposit
iv) LPG 14 kg cylinder with Cylinder Deposit
9. Can I order both 12kg and 14kg of Gas PETRONAS cylinders from one order?
Yes
10. Do you accept other brand cylinder (apart from Gas PETRONAS)
Yes, we accept C12 and C14 cylinders from Esso, Shell, BHP and Solar.
However, we do not accept Mobil 11kg and Shell 10kg.
11. How much is the price of LPG for GPHD service?
Total price for Central Region;
i) C12 RM25.80/cylinder
ii) C14 RM29.60/cylinder
Total price for Northern, Eastern & Southern Region;
iii) C12 RM25.20/cylinder
iv) C14 RM29.00/cylinder

13. Does this GPHD service cover all areas/regions of Malaysia?
No, only major cities in Peninsular Malaysia are covered.
14. Where are the cities/locations/regions covered for this GPHD service?
*Regions involved: 4 (Central, Northern, Southern, and Eastern)
Cities: 14 (Klang Valley, Kangar, Georgetown, Bayan Lepas, Alor Setar, Kulim, Ipoh, Seremban, Malacca City, Johor Bahru, Kuantan, Dungun, Kuala Terengganu and Kota Bharu)
15. How much Mesra Card points is customer entitled through order purchase for GPHD?
1 kg = 1 Mesra Card point.
No points are issued for RM50 cylinder deposit. Terms and Conditions apply.
16. Can I use Mesra Card points to redeem free Gas PETRONAS Cylinder or obtain Gas PETRONAS cylinder at cheaper price?
Not for the time being.
17. What if I don't have Mesra Card?
Please proceed to any of your nearest PETRONAS Service Station for new member registration. You will be able to obtain Mesra Card points for the next purchase.
18. Can customer still create order at PETRONAS Service Stations?
No. It will be stopped after the introduction of GPHD service from 2.4.2012.
19. Could customer purchase other accessories (i.e hose, regulator, clips) from Hotline?
We do not sell these items, but if there is a requirement, CSE need to put a remark at the system and customer could purchase these directly through our Premier Dealers.
20. How should I provide my feedbacks about this new service?
Customer may call Mesralink at 1300 88 8181 or 1300 888 427. Alternatively customer can also log in to PDB website; www.mymesra.com.my
21. What is GAS PETRONAS?
  • Gas PETRONAS is made up of hydrocarbon gases, comprising mainly of Propane (C3H8) and Butane (C4H10).
  • LPG is colorless and odorless. However, for safety reasons, an odorant is added to LPG for easy detection of any gas leakage.
  • It is widely used in household for heating appliances such as ovens, stoves and water heaters. It is also used in industries such as iron and steel industry, aerosol propellant industry, glass and ceramic manufacture, copper tubing and cable manufacture. LPG is also an excellent alternative for automotive fuel.
  • PDB sells its Gas PETRONAS in three cylinder sizes suitable for domestic and small & medium industries (SMI) usage. The three cylinder sizes available are the 12, 14 and 50 kg cylinders. The 12 and 50 kg cylinders are painted in PETRONAS corporate green, while the 14kg cylinders have a rubine red top to differentiate them from the 12 kg cylinders.
  • For the heavy industry sector, Gas PETRONAS is sold in tanker loads and is stored in large bullet tanks.
22. Safety questions are as follows:-
    a) What should you do if a gas leak occurs?
  • Turn off your regulator and gas stove
  • Open all doors and windows to release the gas
  • Do not turn on or off any electrical appliances or switches.
  • If your gas cylinder is leaking, remove it to a well-ventilated area.
  • Notify your Gas PETRONAS Dealer immediately.
    b) What should you do if a gas fire occurs?
  • Do not panic. If possible, switch off the gas supply immediately.
  • Raise the alarm and get everyone out of the premises.
  • Extinguish the fire if possible, but do not take undue risks.
  • Contact BOMBA (999)
  • Close all doors and windows to contain the fire.
    c) What should you do if the fire suddenly goes out while you are cooking?
  • Switch off the gas stove.
  • Open all the doors and windows to disperse the gas.
  • Reignite the stove only when there is no smell of gas.
