PETRONAS Station donates cash, learning aid to the needy

SIBU: The PETRONAS station at Jalan Wong King Huo here yesterday contributed a sum of RM5,000 and learning aid to the Association for Children with Special Needs (ACSN).
Manager of the Retail Sales Department of PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad, Sarawak Region, Caroline Mawas Jonathan Sabai handed over the donation to the Chairperson of ACSN Datin Kapitan Janet Lau at the Agape Centre at Jalan Alan here.
Manager of Mas View Sdn Bhd, Dennie Hou, who is also the proprietor of the PETRONAS station at Jalan Wong King Hou and area manager of Retail Sales Department of PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad, Sibu, Then Jiunn were also present at the function.
Also present were other managers and proprietors of local PETRONAS petrol stations.
Speaking to reporters, Mawas said the contribution was part of the social responsibility of the owners of Petronas petrol station towards the less fortunate throughout the State.
The donated learning aid will be placed at the Agape Centre’s Star Resources Library to facilitate the special children housed at the centre. |
