Kuala Lumpur, 31 January 2012 - As part of its efforts to reward and recognise its loyal customers, PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB) today awarded 69 winners of PETRONAS Syntium Moto ‘Rev Up and Win’ Contest with prizes worth over RM100,000. To add cheer to the celebrations, racing stars Mohd Zamri Baba and Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah, were specially invited much to the delight of eager fans and winners.

During the three-month contest, participants purchased a litre of PETRONAS Syntium Moto and answered three questions to enter the contest. Those that answered correctly in the quickest time with the most number of right entries were then chosen via a computerised selection process to take home a host of exciting prizes.

At the event, Mohd Shobri A Bakar, General Manager of PDB’s Lubricant Business Division said, “PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad organised the PETRONAS Syntium Moto ‘Rev Up and Win’ Contest to reward our loyal customers who have contributed to the success of our Syntium Moto lubricant. It is with their continuous support that Syntium Moto has established itself as the preferred brand of lubricant for motorbikes.”

The Grand prize winner was presented a Yamaha XJ6 Diversion 600cc bike while the second grand prize winner took home a Yamaha FZ150i bike. Meanwhile, the third grand prize winner got to ride home a Yamaha 135LC Extreme Spirit bike.

Two lucky monthly winners for October, November and December each received an iPad 2, Sony Vaio S Series and Alpinestars merchandises respectively. The remaining 60 consolation winners were rewarded cash prize of RM500 each.

Grand prize winner, Mohd Marwan bin Abdul Wahab from Cheras was clearly delighted at his stroke of luck. “I have been a loyal customer of PETRONAS for 12 years and I am truly satisfied with the performance of its motorcycle oil all these years. What more, knowing that I stand a chance to win exciting prizes through my usual purchase is just awesome! I am really grateful to PETRONAS for this wonderful reward!” he exclaimed.

“I will definitely continue to be a loyal customer of PETRONAS in the years ahead. I will also encourage my family members and friends join in so they too can win prizes easily,” he added.
